Hey Ladies… It’s Monday and it’s time to Miracle Launch. I’ve jumped in on the Comments below and invite you to do the same – let us know what you want to see happen this week in your business!
Also, I’m keeping this post short because it’s the last week of the month, which means that we have a big Miracle Launch during Business Girlfriends Diva Day this Thursday. There will be a Miracle Launch tele-call and everything, and we’ll each be kicking off our most resonant goal/intention for the coming month. Fun-o-rama. If you want to check out Business Girlfriends Diva Day, there’s lot of info. about it here.
And please do post your launch for this week – we want to support you…
How to do a Miracle Launch post: State your most resonant goal for the week while we witness you and cheer you on. When we launch together, it triggers synchronicities & little miracles – a group synergy. Plus it just plain feels good to be witnessed. You can simply state your goal, or if you want to go deep with it, you can first do the five Miracle Launcher steps described here.

My Miracle Launch for this week: It’s just a big ‘ole wish for our first Business Girlfriends Diva Day of 2010 which is this Thursday. I was sick last fall and had to let Diva Day slide a little, which was very sad for my heart. But now we’ve got a bunch of new faces in the forum and I’ve got my energy back, thank goodness.
So my wish for Diva Day is that it produce more joy on Thursday than I can even imagine with my little mind. That connections and a-ha moments happen that I could never orchestrate with my tiny, control-freak-tendency brain on its own.
Diva Day is a very dear project to me – it was in beta test all last year – it was just a baby then. Now I feel like it’s a little toddler, a really magical, soulful, inquisitive, beautiful toddler. I just want what’s best for her! So I’m calling in what’s better than I can even imagine.
What’s your miracle launch this week? Please add yours and feel free to have it be as wide as mine or as specific and tangible as “I aim to finish writing a specific page on my website.” All kinds of miracles are welcome here :0)
My Miracle Launch for this week: To deal with the overwhelming fear of failure I’ve been feeling the last couple of days.
A few weeks ago when I started my blog I felt a flutter of this fear, and I was able to talk myself out of it. But these last couple of days that fear has returned with a vengeance. I’ve been feeling sweaty and panicky, and I don’t want that!
So we’ll see how I work with it this week. Whew!
I’m late this week, but I wasn’t on the computer much yesterday. It was The Hubby’s bday, and I had to buy presents and root beer (I also joined a gym to literally work at least half of my ass off)!
This week’s goal is the same as last week’s: Finish the three sample chapters for my book proposal. I’ve made headway on the second chapter. I also want to start posting regularly on my blog.
Hope everyone has a good week!
Go Shawna & Michelle! Michelle, you’ve really got your brave on, woman. Keep us posted on how it goes. And Shawna, sounds like you’re making progress with the book proposal, and with the gym too.
I’m a little sleepy on the blog this week in order to get ready Diva Day. But I can’t wait to see you ladies there :0)
Lisa
I’m leaving Friday for a weekend in London. It’s Paul’s belated birthday present, and the first time we’ve been away on our own for over two years! The trip means that I need to “work focused” so my blogs stay updated as promised while I’m gone. So my goal for this week is to write and schedule 7 posts by Thursday; send out Magpie Girl and Flock newsletters, record my story pitch for Ira Glass and send out interview questions to Phillip Chbeeb – or even better. And I’m still gonna hit my daily exercise goals. (Today = tan/walk!)
Ready? Set? GO!
Go Rachelle! It’s really good to see you here :0) Sounds like an intense focus week with lots ‘o’ stuff. Ooh, and that Ira Glass pitch sounds really fun. Can’t wait to hear more about that. Look forward to hearing how it all goes and let us know, okay?
And the question I cannot help but ask… can you GET a tan in Copenhagen?!
I have an update for you: Monday I wrote about wanting to deal with my fear of failure.
Oh boy. This really triggered something for me. After some reflection and journaling I realized that my fear of failure is a symptom of something bigger—a fear of not having the ability to be powerful in my life. Of helplessness.
If you were to ask me how I think about myself, I’d tell you that I see myself as a strong, capable person.
But now I’m realizing….I’ve dealt with a lot of trauma in my life, and these experiences have left me with a strong fear of having the rug pulled out from under me.
I’m glad to have this self knowledge, now—even though it took some sweat and panicky-ness to get it—because I think it’s going to help me deal with my fear of failure.
Lisa — RE: Copenhagen Tan …teehee! It’s my “cheat”. It’s so cold and frozen outside that I need a motivation to get in my morning walk. So I walk the kids to school and then a bit more (30 min); pause at one of the many self-serve tanning salons and get warm for 15 min; seal all the warmth into layers of thermals, wool, and a coat that looks like a sleeping bag; then walk the 30 min home.
It’s my Monday routine — since that is the hardest day for me to get moving.
Michelle B — good job being brave! My 9yo daughter has this on her quite corner at home “If you’re never afraid you can never be brave.”
Cheers! R
Michelle, I hear you on fearing you’re not a strong person. That’ what I’ve been working on too. Fearing I’m not cracked up to do what I want to do and have the power to do it. My two words for this year are self-trust and sovereignty. I’m learning both this year.
@Michelle & Shawna: Powerful stuff, ladies. Really powerful stuff. Your awareness is palpable here. It sounds like you’re in that place where you hold yourself really gently in all that fear. And you know, it strikes me, to hold yourself gently in fear is…. Powerful. Strong. It’s powerful & strong to recognize where you are so scared and to hold that recognition. And to cradle yourself as you evolve through this period of growth and claiming of self. So there’s your strength right there – I see that it’s already in play!
@Rachelle: Okay that’s so awesome. I didn’t realize it was a tanning booth! Your ritual sounds lovely, like a lovely cocoon. I have this beautiful friend here in Colorado who also goes to the tanning booth in the winter. She’s this super wise earth mama – she’s in her 50′s, teaches snowboarding, rides horses, is an EMT, she’s so cool. And it’s funny because you wouldn’t expect this earth woman to be all about the fake tan. But she’s way into it. She says it gets her through the winter – both visually and for mood too. Go tanning earth mamas :0)
